Trip To Colorado
I went to Colorado in last Spring in Apri 2017 and it was on the most beautiful places I've visited. I flew into Denver, CO and drove two hours to Avon, CO. Avon is close to Beaver Creek Resort who is popular for their ski amenities. I went during the week the ski areas was closing. So, I didn't get a chance to ski but I still visited Beaver Creek. I had to take a shuttle bus up through the mountains to reach the resort area. The area was a non-mobile community so no cars were allowed and you had to walk to visit the different stores, skating rink and ski vicinity.
I stayed at the Christie Lodge Resort. The resort was clean, comfortable and full of a great friendly staff. My trip was for five days. On two of the days I went to Iron Mountain Adventure and Hot Springs. I had to ride a tram to get to the adventure park. That was the only option to go way up and down the mountain. They had amusement rides, laser tag, and a real cave. I went inside the cave for a tour and the air it had cool moist air with a brownish yellow rock structure. In some spots water dripped inside from the mountain's spring. We had such an energetic tour guide and she explained the history of the cave so thoroughly.
The hot springs was really relaxing. It was like being in an outside spa. It felt really rejuvenating and balanced to set in such naturally heated water, especially while the temperature outside was like 50 degrees. I had so much fun and definitely plan on visiting again.
