Top 10 Favorite Places in Chicago

There are so many places to visit and things do in Chicago. I'm going to share with you 10 of my favorite places that I recommend you visit at least once.

  1. 1. AMC River East 21

Out Side AMC River East 21
AMC River East 21 is located in downtown Chicago. It is easy to get by public transportation, and is a few blocks away from Navy Pier. They have two parking lots and will validate your parking for a discount. It has Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes and bar inside. The staff is friendly. They have stadium seating, comfortable chairs, large screens and excellent sound. You will see beautiful artwork on the walls of famous actors. I really enjoy going there, especially when I'm invited to the private screenings that show movies before they are premiered to the public. You are sure to have a great movie experience.

  1. 2. AT&T Flagship Store

AT&T Michigan Ave Flagship store isn't just for shopping. They host awesome events that give their customers and/or potential customers the opportunity to attend the private events for free. I usually go to AT&T Flagship to cover the private events. They often have screening or watch parties of popular TV Shows. They book celebrities to do live interviews, performances, and participate in meet & greets. Some of Chicago's major radio stations and DJs are booked there. They treat you like VIP and the staff is amazing.

      3. United Center

 Benny The Bull
The United Center is home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks. It is a great venue for concerts and events. I have some great memories there. I remember when I was a kid and was there to see Disney's "Beauty and The Beast on Ice". Recently, I was there as a guest for AT&T's Flagship store and got to experience being in a private skybox suite. The staff was so courtesy. They treated me like a VIP and four-time champion, Horace Grant, came to hang out with us. That night the Bulls played the Miami Heat and the crowd was so live. Even undefeated boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was present in the building. It was also social media night and they had several social activities for fans to participate in. The fans received gifts and pictures that was taken in the photo booth. I always have a great time at the United Center.

  1. 6. Tillys Pit & Pub

Outside of Tillys
I remember the 1st time I ate there. The food is so delicious, especially the Po Boys. They have tv's throughout the restaurant for your entertainment. They have a karaoke night. You will find Tillys in far south suburb, located in Calumet City.

The chicken Po Boy sandwich at Tillys is so delicious

  1. 7. Watra Night Club

Watra VIP area
I usually host events at Watra Night Club. Watra is a nice club. They have great lighting, upscale atmosphere and drinks are very reasonable. They don't have a parking lot but street parking is free. It is a great club to be social and party.

  1. 8. White Sox Park

Me at a White Sox & Cubs Game
I recently went to go to Guaranteed Rate Field for a White Sox game. Two days later I went to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Honestly, I had such a great time at White Sox Park. They really keep you entertained during your time there. They have a lot of crowd activities, contests and opportunities to receive gifts. I may have been sitting in the upper level but I enjoyed myself and felt the excitement from the crowd in the lower level seating. Unlike the Cubs game where I had level 1 seating and it was horrible. The vendors keep standing in front of you and all they cared about was selling, food, beer and raffle tickets. My tickets cost a total of $150 and 80% of the game all I saw was vendor ass in my view. I made complaints via their twitter and never got a response from their social marketing team. What a waist of money and time! In comparison, it cost $7 for a single Sox ticket in the upper level and I saw the game with a clear view. For now on,  if I'm going to watch a Chicago baseball game, it will be at White Sox Park.

  1. 10. LA Fitness

LA Fitness Gym
When it comes to a fitness club, I go to LA FitnessIt's great to be able to have a membership at a gym that has many locations, equipment, fitness classes, personal training, and basketball courts, daycare and saunaAlso, when I travel, there is usually a LA Fitness in that city that I can go to.
